AI shopping assistant for WooCommerce: answers product questions, manages the cart, looks up orders and books Google Calendar appointments.

== Description ==

ReadyChat adds an AI chat assistant to your WooCommerce store. It knows your catalogue, can add products to the cart, look up orders for logged-in customers, and book appointments straight into your Google Calendar — all from a single chat window.

= AI chat =

* Floating chat widget, or place it inline with the `[readychat]` shortcode.
* Hands-free voice chat with speech input and spoken replies (Web Speech API in the visitor's browser).
* Chat history kept in the visitor's browser, synced across tabs, with a clear-history button.
* Optional lead capture (name, mobile, email) before the chat starts.
* Fully responsive, with custom colours to match your brand.

= WooCommerce store intelligence =

* Understands products, prices, stock, ratings, categories, attributes, variations and tags.
* Add to cart, change quantities, remove items or empty the cart by chat — the mini-cart updates without a reload.
* Upsell and cross-sell suggestions when a product is added.
* Logged-in customers can see recent orders, look up an order by number, and view shipping and payment options and active coupons.
* Shipment tracking when Advanced Shipment Tracking for WooCommerce is installed.

= Google Calendar appointment booking =

* Connect Google Calendar with OAuth 2.0 (tokens refresh automatically).
* Checks your calendar for conflicts before offering a slot.
* Book by chatting, or with the visual booking widget via the `[readychat_calendar]` shortcode.
* Working hours, working days, slot length, breaks, buffer time, look-ahead window, blocked dates and holidays.
* Confirmation, reminder, cancellation and reschedule emails for customers and admins.
* "My Appointments" tab in WooCommerce My Account so customers can cancel or reschedule.
* Admin dashboard with stats, peak-hours chart and a searchable bookings list.

= Free and paid plans =

The plugin is free. AI replies are generated by the ReadyChat service (see below). Every site gets 50 free AI conversations; more conversations are available on paid plans. All plugin features work on the free plan — plans only change the number of AI conversations. See [plans and pricing](https://www.readychat.si/#pricing).

== External services ==

This plugin connects to the following third-party services. No data is sent until the chat widget or calendar features are used.

= ReadyChat service (Project Media House) =

All AI chat replies are generated by the ReadyChat service at `https://www.readychat.si/omni-activation/`. The service also counts conversations against your plan.

* **When:** every time a visitor sends a chat message, and when an administrator opens the ReadyChat settings screen (to show usage).
* **What is sent:** your site's domain, the site key the service issued to your site, the visitor's message, the last few messages of the conversation, a chat session ID, the assistant instructions built from your store (store name, relevant product and cart information), and — only if lead capture is enabled and the visitor provides them — the visitor's name and email address.

* Privacy Policy: https://www.readychat.si/privacy-policy/

= Google Calendar API (Google) =

Used only if you connect a Google Calendar in ReadyChat → Settings → Calendar. The plugin requests OAuth tokens from `https://oauth2.googleapis.com/token` and reads free/busy times and creates, updates and deletes events through `https://www.googleapis.com/calendar/v3`. Booking details (date, time, customer name and email) are sent when an appointment is booked, rescheduled or cancelled.

== Installation ==

1. Make sure WooCommerce is installed and active (ReadyChat will not activate without it).
2. Upload the `omnibot-ai` folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`, or install it from Plugins → Add New.
3. Activate the plugin.
4. Go to **ReadyChat → Settings** and turn on the floating chat, or add `[readychat]` to any page.
5. Optional: open the **Calendar** tab, follow the setup guide to connect Google Calendar, and add `[readychat_calendar]` to a page.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does it require WooCommerce? =

Yes. ReadyChat is built for WooCommerce stores and will not activate without it.

= Do I need my own AI API key? =

No. Chat replies come from the ReadyChat service, which includes 50 free conversations per site.

= What happens when the free conversations run out? =

The chat shows visitors a friendly message and you can upgrade to a paid plan from the settings screen. The rest of your store keeps working normally.

= Does it slow down my site? =

The chat script loads in the footer after the page renders and only talks to the AI service when a visitor sends a message.

= How do I show the booking calendar? =

Enable the calendar in ReadyChat → Settings → Calendar, connect Google Calendar, and add the `[readychat_calendar]` shortcode to a page.
