Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the ReadyChat website at readychat.si and the ReadyChat AI chatbot plugin and activation service (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, buying a plan, or installing the plugin, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

ReadyChat is a WordPress plugin that adds an AI chat assistant to a website. The plugin connects to our activation service, which registers your website’s domain, counts conversations against your plan, and sends chat messages to a third-party AI provider to generate replies. The plugin itself is released under the GPL-2.0-or-later licence. The AI replies and the activation service are provided by us and are subject to these Terms.

2. Your website and account

  • Each website (domain) that uses ReadyChat is registered with the activation service and receives a private site key. Keep it confidential. Do not use the site key of another website.
  • You are responsible for the website where you install ReadyChat, for what visitors are told about the chatbot, and for having any permissions or notices that the law requires for your visitors’ data.
  • You must give accurate information when you contact us or place an order.

3. Free allowance and paid plans

  • Free plan. Every website receives 50 free AI conversations in total. When they are used, chats stop until you buy a plan.
  • Paid plans. Plans are offered for a monthly (30 days), 3-month (90 days) or yearly (365 days) period, each with a set number of AI conversations, as shown on our pricing page. When the period ends or the allowance is used up, whichever comes first, chats stop until you buy or renew a plan.
  • Plans are one-time purchases for the period shown. They do not renew automatically.
  • A “conversation” is one visitor question answered by the AI. Messages that fail because of a technical error are not counted.
  • If you buy another plan for the same website while one is still running, your unused conversations carry over and the new period is added after the current one.
  • We may change plans, allowances and prices for future purchases. Changes do not affect a plan you have already bought.

4. Payment

Prices are shown in US dollars and may exclude taxes, which are added where required. Payments are processed through our store (WooCommerce) and our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card number. A plan is activated after payment is confirmed. If you believe you were charged incorrectly, or you would like to ask about a refund, contact us using the details in section 12 and we will review your request.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • break any law or infringe the rights of others;
  • generate or spread unlawful, harmful, deceptive or abusive content, or spam;
  • attempt to access, probe or disrupt the activation service, other customers’ sites, or the AI providers behind it;
  • resell, share or circumvent the allowance of a plan, or bypass the site key or usage limits;
  • submit sensitive personal data (such as payment card numbers, health records or government identifiers) through the chat unless you have a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards.

We may suspend or block a domain that breaks these rules or puts the Service at risk.

6. AI-generated replies

Replies are produced by artificial intelligence and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. You are responsible for reviewing how the chatbot behaves on your website and for any decisions you or your visitors make based on its replies. Do not rely on the chatbot for legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.

7. Third-party services

The Service works together with services we do not control, including WordPress, WooCommerce, Google Calendar (if you connect it), payment providers and AI model providers. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability or conduct.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change or discontinue features, for example to fix problems or because an AI provider changes or retires a model.

9. Intellectual property

The ReadyChat name, logo and website content belong to us or our licensors. The plugin code is licensed under the GPL-2.0-or-later licence. You keep ownership of the content you and your visitors submit, and you give us permission to process it only as needed to provide the Service (see our Privacy Policy).

10. Disclaimer and limit of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the plan in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

11. Suspension, termination and changes to these Terms

You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the plugin. We may suspend or end access for breach of these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time; the date at the top shows when they were last changed, and continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
